We start 2021 with NFR contestants Jess Pope and Colten Fritzlan, and their 2020 NFR was anything but average, no pun. Jess shares his yearlong journey to the 2020 Wrangler NFR and competing against the best at his first NFR while winning the average in bareback. While Charlie Daniels is no longer with us, he is still felt throughout the NFR with his voice and music and the people he's touched. Daniels has been recognized in the National Finals Rodeo's iconic Sunday Performance, otherwise known as Memorial Night. Charlie himself has performed many times that Sunday performance remembering cowboys that have passed expressing his love for rodeo. There have tributes far and wide recognizing Mr. Daniels since his passing, and we reflect with his long-time manager, David Corlew.
